Model Latina

Model Latina is an American reality competition show, which aspiring models compete against one another in fashion and cultural challenges. They are judged by a panel of fashion experts and celebrities from the American Latino entertainment industry. Model Latina is the first modeling competition of its kind to feature Latinas from all over the U.S. The show airs on the cable network NuvoTV.

Season 1

• First aired: July 27 – October 12, 2008

Model Latina: LA was filmed in Los Angeles, California. The host was Ellie Rodriguez and the judges were photographer Franco Lacosta, Q Management's CEO Jeffrey Kolsrud, reality star Katrina Campins, along with a couple of guest judges including Jorge Ramon. Jessica Caban and Darlenis Duran competed in the finale with Caban emerging as Sí TV's (now NuvoTV) first ever Model Latina.

• First aired: August 2 – October 18, 2009

Model Latina: Miami was filmed in Miami, Florida. Ellie Rodriguez was the host and the main judges were Jai Rodriguez, Jennifer Gimenez, and Jorge Ramon. Guest judges included Q Management's CEO Jeffrey Kolsrud, telenovela actor Poncho de Anda, Franco Lacosta, Katrina Campins and more. Codie Cabral and Christine Juarbe competed in the final challenge, with Cabral winning the title of Model Latina.

• First aired: August 2 – October 25, 2010

Model Latina: NYC was be filmed in New York City. Online castings took place on March 15, 2010.^[1] Ellie Rodriguez was the host and the main judges were Annette Rosario, Franco Lacosta, and Jorge Ramon. Guest judges included Q Management's CEO Jeffrey Kolsrud and more. Elora Pérez, Jessica Santiago and Nashlly Estefania Sokoli competed in the final challenge, with Pérez winning the title of Model Latina.

• First aired: August 15 – October 24, 2011

Model Latina: Las Vegas was filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jazmín López became the new host and the main judges were Alex Cambert, Franco Lacosta, and Tomiko Fraser Hines. Guest judges included Q Management's CEO Jeffrey Kolsrud, Ana Carolina da Fonseca, Jessica Caban, Kat DeLuna and more.
